Cookbook Spotlight

And now for something completely different!  Well, somewhat different.  Last week, while scanning the shelves at a local thrift store, a small, orange book caught my eye.  So our next recipe will be served with a twist!

It was too cute not to pick up!  Illustrated by Ruth McCrea and published in 1957, Aquavit to Zombie: Basic and Exotic Drinks is an A-to-Z guide to cocktails and alcohol.  The illustrations in the books are simply amazing.  Here’s a video that features more of McCrea’s illustrations!

Jasmine — the book really is an awesome one. I was going to list it on the store, but I’m going to add it to the cookbook collection. 🙂
